Emery's 1st Birthday!!!

So my baby is officially no longer a baby. She turned one yesterday and we made sure to party the entire day. She was thoroughly spoiled! In the morning we went with my mom and sisters to Thanksgiving Point farm to see all the animals.
and of course no farm visit is complete without feeding a goat, right?

Emery's favorite part of the whole trip was riding a pony, She absolutely loved it!
We also went on a horse drawn wagon ride.

For lunch Emery had to have her chicken nuggets. We took her to McDonalds playplace and she was pretty excited to be big like all the other kids, my sisters carried her up into the play place and she loved it.
We added a toddler swing to the swing set for Emery for her birthday, and even though it was freezing she still loved swinging on it!
For dinner we went to Brick Oven with the family, and Emery was in heaven. Her choice of food was crackers and garlic bread. What a crazy girl. She didnt really want anything else we tried to feed her.

Her favorite part about the dinner was climbing on the table, and no one tried to stop her because it was her birthday.
Once she realized all the attention she was getting she tried to hide (this is her shy move). Funny girl!
After dinner we went to grandmas and she ran around chasing balloons for a half hour, it was hilarious to watch. She absolutely loves chasing balloons.
Emery was so spoiled with 3 different cakes!
Aunt Abby make her a cute butterfly cake!

She wasn't so sure about her own birthday cake, however. She didn't like the frosting all over her hands. It was funny.
After she made a big enough mess she decided that she was done, and it was time for presents.

She was so spoiled by all the cute presents! Her favorite was her new baby stroller. (unfortunately she was already in her pj's which dont allow for walking, so we had to modify)
What an adorable little birthday girl! We love you so much little Emery!!!

St. George

Over conference weekend we went down to St George with our friends Chris and Malia. The weather was so nice and it was so fun to just relax and spend time with the girls.

Emery loved the pool, and sitting in the sun! Kate on the other hand was not so sure of the pool, but she did like the hot tub.
After conference on Sunday we went to the St George temple and visitors center. It is such a beautiful temple!

Chad navigated us to a fun little hike. It was a great view of the city. St George is so beautiful.
Chris and Chad, and even Kate hiked through this slot canyon. I was so impressed that Kate actually made it all the way through all by herself! She even beat the guys out!
It was such a fun trip, we loved spending time with our friends and listening to conference!

new car

So we have recently added a new addition to our family, it's name is Lulu (no its not a baby- although Chad sometimes thinks it is, jk). We finally got a new car, and we are loving it! It is a ford escape hybrid. It is so nice to have the extra room and all the fun gadgets that we didnt have before. We are feeling pretty spoiled.
