Happy St Pattys Day!

Hi everyone! Well not much is new here at the Gollaher house. Chad is getting back into the swing of night shifts and Kate and I are still not in the swing of doing without him. Poor Chad is getting over a cold and Kate and I are doing our best to avoid getting it (which has been sucessful so far). We are getting excited for Spring and Kate will finally get to feel what warm weather is like. She celebrated her first St Patricks day today sporting her awesome green overalls! It has been an eventful last three weeks for Kate. Three weeks ago today she got her ears pierced (she was so brave and now has cute pink diamond earrings), the next week she got her first tooth and a week later one more popped through. She now has two very cute teeth on the bottom, if anyone is brave she will gladly show you how sharp they really are. Kate is becoming an avid shopper just like her mom, she loves to pull all of the clothes off of the shelves and chew on them but she did use her new found skills to pick out a very cute pink easter dress. We have so much fun watching her grow and learn new things each day. Her latest tricks are chewing on her toes, and copying faces you make at her! What a cute baby!!! Well I am slowly getting the hang of this and will do my best to keep y'all updated (with the help of Janessa). Love Much!!! *Chad, Ashley, and of course Kate

our life... as of today

It seems like things are always changing before we can adjust, but I guess that is what keeps life exciting. I have decided to go back and finish school, so in order to do this as quick as possible I will be starting into Ameritech's nursing program in June and will finish 18 months later! It will keep me very busy for awhile but I am excited to start. Chad has offiicially began his job at the neurologists office and is training as a sleep technician. He works from seven at night till seven in the morning and is trying to juggle school and two crazy girls! Kates big news of the week is that she has had her ears pierced! It was a very traumatic expreience but she looks so stinkin cute with her new earrings! (I will post a picture as soon as I learn how to, ha ha). Kate is developing a love for American Idol and tries to sing along, it is our weekly activity while Chad is working night shifts, she also enjoys trying to chew on her books while I try to read to her (she loves to chew on anything she can get her hands on, It can be dangerous at times). We also learned this week that she is not a fan of basketball games, she loudly informed grandma and her aunts of this at the provo high basketball game. Well I will try to keep this updated, and possibly learn how to post pictures (If anyone knows how to do this please tell me). Until then use your imagination :). Have a great day!
