Monday afternoon I came home from school to find chad outside trying to "air out" my ipod! the first words out of my mouth were "what did you do to my ipod?" well Kate was playing in the bathroom and...
She decided that the ipod could use a little cleaning (I honestly do not know what goes through her mind) anyway, she tossed it in the toilet!!!
I knew that as a first time parent there would be lessons to learn but I did not realize how expensive these learning experiences would be! I heard that ipods make frowning faces when they die, and my ipod did not so I am hoping that I can take it somewhere to be fixed. (if anyone has suggestions please let me know)
and I thought this picture was appropriate, ha ha. Its a really good thing that kate is so cute!!!
Everyone cross their fingers for my poor little ipod, and I will let you know how it turns out.

Oh those life lessons stink! I'm so sorry and it's a stressful time right now for you with finals anyway how did Kate know it would help to through your IPOD in the toilet. Ha, we've lost a few things down the toilet like our DVD remote. In fact whenever things go missing after I've cleaned the whole house I chalk it up to Avery probably threw it in the toilet. oh little kate....that is sad. i really hope your ipod will be saved. my friend's kid likes to stick his own head in the toilet and give himself swirlies often, so it could get worse! good luck.
Yeah, water is not kind to Ipods. I can take a look at it if you want me to. I know of a couple of places to order spare parts if it needs one.

chad i havnt seen u in forever... but i am just waiting on a confirmed flight out of iraq... could be tomorrow, could be a couple days. i cant wait to get out of here... ill let you know if i am able to get some time to visit over there in utah. kinda crazy you have a wife and kid now. yup... gonna be a while for me tho, first i have to find someone willing to put up with me then the kids hahaha
