Graduation

Yesterday was my graduation ceremony for nursing school! There were two separate programs, the first is a "nursing" tradition called the pinning and candle lighting ceremony started by Florence Nightingale. It was fun to have a separate ceremony just for the students in my class. The next ceremony was the traditional graduation procession.
(The awesome graduation gown totally hid my big baby belly)
I was so spoiled to have so many people there to support me! All of my family, Chad's family and both sets of my grandparents came, it was so fun to see them and I am so lucky to have such great support! It is so nice to finally be done... well almost (I am scheduled to take my state boards on Feb 22nd- wish me luck). I have already started working full time so life continues to be busy but it is good!

Ash I am crying looking at your blog a mixture of me being so happy for you and my pregnancy hormones kicking in big time. You look so happy and have worked so hard and I can't think of anyone more deserving. You are such an unselfish person and will make the best nurse ever. You are the best! Love you!
