So we are on potty training round two. We have tried this multiple times before with no success. I have officially decided that I can only handle changing one childs' diaper and Kate needs to be potty trained. This all began on Monday... It is now Thursday and I am ready to die! She still goes in her pants about 90% of the time, she will come tell me she needs to go after she has already gone in her pants. It is seriously driving me crazy!!! I need help, does anyone have suggestions for me? We have tried treats, books, rewards, punishments and still no success. We told her when she is all potty trained we will take her to pick out a bike but she doesn't care, and she asks for her diapers. Let me know your suggestions! I'll keep you updated :)

Oh I hear ya girl! When you figure it out, let me know. I felt the same after I had Rocky - only one kid in diapers, please! So when Grace turned 2 in january I put her straight into panties. it took her about a week to get the potty thing down, so I was feeling pretty good. 2 1/2 months later, she was still at the same point as week one. she would go potty most of the time in the toilet but NEVER poop. Not one time did she poop in the toilet. it was so gross! We had a trip to cali in March, so I put her back in diapers, and realized how EASY diapers were.
needless to say I still have 2 kids in diapers.

O man i feel your pain i am going through the same thing right now, and im going to die! Seriously i cant handle it. I got her the movie the prince and the frog and she only gets to watch it when she goes potty in the toliet. But it still does not stop her from going in her panties! Its such a nightmare. I feel stuck. I dont know what to do! Good Luck! Post something when something works for you, and i will do the same lol. THE JOY OF HAVING CHILDREN! There so worth this yucky mess.. haha. Hope your doing well.
I hate to tell you this Ashley, but it sounds like Kate is just not ready. That is how Trevin was. I tried to potty train him to early and all it did was make life hard for me. She is getting close though. If she understands that she has to go after she went, that is the first step. It will slowly catch up to her and she will soon know when she has to go before she has to go. Hand in there she is really close. I would wait a month or so and try again.
Awe ash. Jacob is slowly potty training himself so he uses the toilet almost a couple times daily. (which surprisingly is a pain because I'm too lazy to potty train right now) I could tell you I think the things that made him want to do it were seeing other "big kids", so I got him a little toilet after he begged. The toilet sings to him and he loves it! Oh and he loves playing this elmo potty game on the computer, he asks to go alot when he has been playing that.
I have to agree. I tried getting Rian into potty training a couple of times before Cole was born and she did the same thing. It sounds like she's just not ready yet. I had the opposite problem though where I couldn't handle running a child to the bathroom and feeding or holding another child at the same time. That drove me nuts! Too much pressure. Maybe wait a few more months and try again. Sorry.
