So Chad has recently made quite the change to his career path. He is looking into dental school instead of medical school. So far it sounds like a great path for our family. Any thoughts, or suggestions? We love the fact that he could attend UNLV which is closer to home, and he would not have the long residency but instead be able to specialize! All around it sounds like a great way to go, but we would love suggetions! Let us know what you think!

Hey that's great! You won't have to worry about being school forever and you will still make a lot of money! :) Just make sure he really WANTs to do it and will like what he's doing...I'm sure you know how guys are SO much happier when they do that! :) Us, on the other hand, well, I think Cayden will be like 12 or 13 before D's done with everything...blah! It's all good though :) D's Happier! lol
I say go for it if chad enjoys it. He'll get to work with his hands more and he'll spend more time in class and not quite as much studying as med school but we love it so far. Oh and just a heads up, most dental specialty programs are actually called residency and are similar in many ways to a dr residency, you just don't get paid much at all(if you make anything) and dental school is about 30 percent more expensive then med school because of the tools, but you can make lots more right when you graduate, plus who cares about money ha ha! Good luck in whichever he does, you guys will love it

ps he should become an orthodontist-- my boss is totally loaded.. :) and tammy just says that about money because she knows one day she will be swimming in it. haha love you tam :)
