most of july!

So good news...We are still alive, just very busy! I apologize for the long break in my blogging. Just to update everyone here are a few things that we have been up to this last month...

We love the fourth of July!Kate was not sure what to think of the parade, she let us know that she definitely did not like the cannons! But overall I think she had fun!

What a cute little family!here is my proof for everyone that Kate loves to swim, and she loves her little hippo floatie!the first week in July we went to the Jex family reunion up at Reid ranch, and I thought it would be fun to try horse back riding. So after about ten minutes into the ride my horse got spooked and bolted into a bunch of trees, throwing me into a tree and knocking me out! lucky for me I was wearing a helmet and life vest or i would have cracked my ribs and head! so here is a picture of my awesome battle wounds!

The next weekend we went up to bear lake and lava hot springs with some of Chads family, Kate loved lounging around!
This is another one of my survival pictures, I went tubing down the river and lost my tube, so I had to hike out of the side of the river!
